New Patterns From Brooklyn Tweed

 Fortnight – $8.25

Beautifully textured, this unisex hat features a garter stitch brim and a cabled crown. Full of options, this hat can be made with a contrast color trim, and earflaps for extra warmth.

Straggo Mittens

Strago Mittens – $6.75

This pair of stranded mittens is worked with two colors. The sizing of your finished mittens will be achieved by your stitch gauge. Using different yarns and gauges as specified in the Pattern Blueprint will yield the proper dimensions for your chosen size. The mitten patterning is reversible — the same pattern instructions/chart are used for both Right-hand and Left- hand mittens.

New Patterns From Churchmouse

Felted Gingerbread Ornaments – $7.25

Felted Gingerbread Ornaments from Churchmouse

The knitting’s as easy as pie—easier, actually! Once your knitted piece is fully felted, simply use the included templates (or trace your own favorite cookie cutters) to cut ‘dough’ into jolly cookie shapes. Decorate as desired (they’ve included embroidery instructions). Hang them on your tree, tie them onto packages, string garlands—you get the idea. Yum!

Reversible Cable Neck Wrap & Scarf – $5.25

Reversible Cable Neck Wrap & Scarf

One big, luscious, lofty cable, in a reversible rib so it’s just as gorgeous on both sides. Wrap the shorter version various ways with a pin or a big button. Sew two tweedy buttons together back-to-back for a jumbo ‘cuff link’ and button them through the holes created by the cable twist. You can share the long, handsome muffler with a man if you like.

Inside Outside Cowl – $7.25

Inside Outside Cowl

With some very simple knitting—and a little fussy finishing—you’ll have a double layer cowl that’s totally seamless, utterly reversible, and very versatile. The two-color version can be worn either color out, or shifted half way for bold color blocking. (They’ve also included a bonus pattern for a totally tubular headband that you can knot, or not.)

Easy Peasy Baby Jacket – $7.25

Easy Peasy Baby Jacket

There’s something sweet, even naïve, about an all-garter-stitch baby sweater. It’s a perfect first sweater—for baby and for knitter. And, whether it’s your first sweater or your hundredth, you’ll appreciate not having to add front or neck bands when you’re done. That’s the beauty of garter stitch.

Little Flowers – $7.05

Little Flowers is a versatile novelty yarn to knit alone or to knit-along with other yarns to add just a little sparkle – also a great addition to felted knitting. The metallic fiber makes the little flowers twinkle!  Just imagine how lovely your next scarf, shawl or poncho will be using “Little Flowers” alone or mixed with other yarns such as Kid Merino/Silk.
