Materials

3 skeins CoBaSi – 2 Main Color, 1 Contrasting Color. Sample knit with two skeins #7 (MC) and one skein #3 (CC).
US #6 (4mm) needles, straight or circular, or size needed to obtain gauge of 7 sts = 1 inch in stockinette.
OPTIONAL: Crochet hook for finishing technique, size B or C

Progressive Needles KAL

Join us in January for our next Knit Along with a return to sock knitting. The toe up design includes a beautifully engineered toe and heel with videos and tips for the novice and experienced alike. Needles: US #2 (2.75mm) or size needed to achieve gauge of 8.5 stitches per inch in stockinette. Socks may be knit with double points, two 24” for two circular method or 32” circular for Magic Loop method.

Alberta - $6.75

This handsome vest is steeked for both armholes and neck opening, which means no purling and also fast knitting! Knit in worsted weight yarn.

Fortnight – $8.25

Beautifully textured, this unisex hat features a garter stitch brim and a cabled crown. Full of options, this hat can be made with a contrast color trim, and earflaps for extra warmth.

Strago Mittens – $6.75

This pair of stranded mittens is worked with two colors. The sizing of your finished mittens will be achieved by your stitch gauge. Using different yarns and gauges as specified in the Pattern Blueprint will yield the proper dimensions for your chosen size. The mitten patterning is reversible — the same pattern instructions/chart are used for both Right-hand and Left- hand mittens.

Felted Gingerbread Ornaments – $7.25

The knitting’s as easy as pie—easier, actually! Once your knitted piece is fully felted, simply use the included templates (or trace your own favorite cookie cutters) to cut ‘dough’ into jolly cookie shapes. Decorate as desired (they’ve included embroidery instructions). Hang them on your tree, tie them onto packages, string garlands—you get the idea. Yum!

Reversible Cable Neck Wrap & Scarf – $5.25

Yarn: 2 skeins Origami (or yarn of your choice)

Needles: Size 9 needle (or your choice get the effect you want)

Cast on 17 stitches

Row 1-5: Knit

Row 6: K3, *YO, P2 tog* repeat pattern to last 4 stitches, YO,K2tog,K2

Row 7-9: Knit

Repeat Rows 6-9 until desired length (70 in. scarf takes almost 2 skeins Origami)

Beaded Fringe:

1 tube beads

Beading needle

Place one 7” strand of yarn, doubled, through end of scarf, tie, place beads on beading needle and pull onto fringe, tie bead in place where desired, using as many beads as you want at different or equal intervals!
